Never Give Up

Love never gives up: never fails.. This has been the theme so far in 2012 It is one that brings so much hope and peace to the hearts of all.. 1Cor.13:8 says Love never fails(fades out or becomes obsolete or comes o an end). As I carry on my work with Lifexchange, I am beginning to realize the truth of that statement...daily I have also come up with a few love is...of my own. Love is...commitment to relationship not to the work. Love is...determination to never give up on a person or leave them where they are at.. Love is ...and has to include waiting on the Lord Love is and wants you to take time out and be refreshed. Why? So you can refresh others. We started with just tutoring 2 years ago now we are at the crossroads of becoming a LX school. We run 2 full days of schooling, in a one room schoolhouse setting. Teaching all the basic 3 R's. Now we are moving into skills like, EMT, office management, au paring... In the near future we are praying to add apprenticeship in building and painting, car mechanics and whoeverelse is keen to share their giftings. The students also do volunteering in the gardens and the crèches (daycare).... All to the glory of God, teaching us .....His love never fails it never gives up on me.....(to quote a worship song) LX always says we are on a journey with these young adults that we hope will last a lifetime and go from mentoring and discipline them ,to new seasons of relationship....never giving up.. It is always an exciting time when you realize how God guides,directs and opens your eyes to see.... Beauty deep within these young adults and then allows you to see the transformation from the inside out. The power of one changed life is incredible may we encourage you to plug into one persons life that God has set before you And trust in God's love to never give up and never run out on you.....
